Belief Evolution of Intelligent Agent

چکیده
This paper examines the Argumentation Negotiation of agent as a mechanism for solving the course-scheduling problem. We integrated multi-agent automatic negotiation mechanism and argumentation reasoning to apply in course scheduling problem. We want to evolve the belief of the agents by argumentation-based negotiation, so that agents can have more information of the environment, and select better action to do. Keyword: intelligent agent, argumentation reasoning, belief evolution, course scheduling, multi-agent system.

Supporting change impact analysis for intelligent agent systems
Software maintenance and evolution is an important and lengthy phase in the software life-cycle which can account for as much as two-thirds of the total software development costs. Intelligent agent technology has evolved rapidly over the past few years as evidenced by the increasing number of agent systems in many different domains. Intelligent agent systems with their distinct characteristics...
متن کاملAn Intelligent Agent Based Approach to MOSAICA's Pedagogical Framework
There has been a significant amount of research in application of intelligent agent technology in virtual training and pedagogical environments. The characteristics of intelligent agents, such as flexible behaviour, autonomy and socialablity make them highly suitable candidates to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional course management systems, online learning and Web resources available...
متن کاملIntelligent Distributed Fault Management for Communication Networks
In this paper, we present an intelligent, distributed fault management system for communication networks using belief networks as fault model and inference engine. The managed network is divided into domains and for each domain, there is an intelligent agent called Domain Diagnostic Agent attached to it, which is responsible for this domain's fault management. Belief network models are embedded...
متن کاملSynergy between Software Product Line and Intelligent Pervasive Middleware- a PLIPerM Approach
The current pervasive middleware is designed to have a monolithic structure according to a ‘one-size-fits-all’ paradigm, which lacks necessary flexibilities for optimization, customization and adaptation to different situations. Ontology evolution is another problem that has not been addressed by the existing pervasive middleware. In this paper, we propose the marriage of software product line ...
متن کاملMajority Rule for Belief Evolution in Social Networks
In this paper, we study how an agent’s belief is affected by her neighbors in a social network. We first introduce a general framework, where every agent has an initial belief on a statement, and updates her belief according to her and her neighbors’ current beliefs under some belief evolution functions, which, arguably, should satisfy some basic properties. Then, we focus on the majority rule ...
